Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
The NSF-UA Accelerator Mass Spectrometry facility is dedicated to the study of cosmogenic isotopes, with special emphasis on radiocarbon, 14C. The laboratory acts both as an analytical resource to the general community and as a research and training center.
Biosphere 2
Biosphere 2 serves as a unique large-scale experimental apparatus housing seven model ecosystems with active research by teams of multidisciplinary scientists.
CLIMAS Environment & Society Graduate Fellows Program
The Climate & Society Graduate Fellows Program provides support for currently enrolled UA graduate students whose work is focused on the nexus of climate research and decision making. Up to four fellowships of $4,750 are awarded annually.
UA/NASA Space Grant Program
This program provides six graduate fellowships per year to exceptional graduate students interested in promoting the understanding of space-related research to the public and who are studying in space sciences/engineering, public policy, earth sciences, science education, and global change-related fields.
