Women’s Studies Advisory Council (WOSAC) Graduate Travel Funds

Travel stipends to professional meetings are available for graduate students pursuing a PhD, MA/JD, graduate certificate, or PhD minor in Gender & Women’s Studies at the University of Arizona. Funding may be provided to individuals traveling to a conference to present a paper or who have or will be attending a conference which they can demonstrate will advance their research and professional goals.

UA/NASA Space Grant Program

This program provides six graduate fellowships per year to exceptional graduate students interested in promoting the understanding of space-related research to the public and who are studying in space sciences/engineering, public policy, earth sciences, science education, and global change-related fields.

Carson Scholars Program

Carson Graduate Scholarships are designed to support outstanding UA graduate students and their research. The scholarships are awarded through a competitive process to current UA students who are committed to interdisciplinary research and communication. Grants of $5,000 per year are awarded to each of the Scholars to support their research.

This prestigious fellowship is designed with the aim to foster the next generation of leaders in the enterprise GIS nonprofit/conservation sectors.
