Tina Gargus joined the Institute of the Environment in 2013. As Senior Program Coordinator, Tina manages the Carson Scholarship Program and coordinates the program administration for the UA Graduate Interdisciplinary Program, Global Change Minor. She plans development events and activities in support of donor stewardship and UA fundraising. Additionally, she offers programmatic and operational support to senior program directors.
Prior to joining IE, Tina spent 14 years working for the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution providing federal program coordination in the field of environmental collaboration. In that capacity she provided project management, contract administration, and events coordination for collaborative planning processes in the areas of transportation and urban development, public lands, water resource management and tribal consultation. Tina also administered the federal National Environmental Conflict Resolution Advisory Committee and co-managed the highly successful national environmental collaboration conferences.
