Where

Ask an Entrepreneur is a chance for students to get up close and personal (virtually) with entrepreneurs in their field. Students will be able to see real-life examples of how one can be entrepreneurial in their field of study and build their network. Partnering with various departments across campus, FORGE (Finding Opportunities and Resources to Grow Entrepreneurs) sets up opportunities for students to ask their burning questions to their guests in a casual yet structured environment. Students gain networking and communication skills through building these connections with innovative industry experts.

For this event, FORGE is partnering with the Arizona Institute for Resilience to talk to experts in sustainability. The event features:

  • Dr. Ida Sami, CEO and founder of Climate NXT, a climate tech company that specializes in leveraging AI and machine learning to automate environmental due diligence consulting services.
  • Andrew Arias, CEO and Co-founder of NexoTerra and recent UArizona alum, has an educational background in the life sciences, agriculture, and human health.
  • Nicci Radhe, founder, grower, and producer at her seed farm in the heart of Tucson, Horny Toad Horticulture Organic seeds and plants can be found at many distributors and farmers markets.
