CART is hiring three students from the University of Arizona to write case studies about 1) fire and climate adaptation in the Southwest or 2) nature-based solution techniques to address climate change across the U.S.
Duties include:
- Gathering and synthesizing information about on-the-ground management projects
- Conducting interviews with natural resource professionals
- Writing case studies to be published on the CART website
Requirements:
- Current University of Arizona student (undergrad or gra)
- Focus in natural resources, conservation biology, climate science, environmental policy, science communicatoin, or other related fields
- Self-motivated team play with excellent analytical and writing skills
Compensation: Undergraduates: $15/hr, Graduate students: standard dept. assistantship rates
Location: Fully remote or hybrid
Duration: 20-35 hrs/week during Summer 2024 (May-August), with possibility of extending as a part-time position during Fall 2024
