Bicycle Inter-Community Art and Salvage

Opportunity Type:
Number of Positions Available:

Location of Opportunity:
Off Campus
Opportunity Description:

BICAS relies on its volunteers to provide needed internal support services – e.g. administrative assistance, accounting, and assisting with/hosting workshops to name a few. We also rely on our volunteers to provide community outreach like flyering, mechanical support at Mobile Bike Repair events, representation at our tabling events, etc. The demand for BICAS’ services has grown over the last few years and our organization needs your help to meet the community’s need.

You don’t have to have any bicycle mechanical knowledge to help. BICAS Volunteers will receive training, opportunities to continue their education, and staff support in order to attain the skills needed to successfully take on important roles and tasks throughout the organization. The BICAS Volunteer Program hosts monthly orientations for new volunteers.
