Please join us next Friday, February 17 for the final presentations of our 2016 Climate & Society Fellows. Presentations will begin promptly at 10:30am and run until noon, in ENR2 Building, Room S225.

We will hear 15 minute presentations from: 

  • Saleh Ahmed - who investigated local adaptation to climate change in southwest coastal Bangladesh; 
  • Schuyler Chew - about his work with the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe on climate adaptation planning; 
  • Stina Janssen - about her experience with the Black Mesa Water Coalition to assess solar development on the Navajo Nation;
  • Sarah Kelly-Richards - who will be joining remotely from Chile, where she has been investigating small hydropower policy and governance;
  • and Joy Liu - who investigated reforestation actions taken by an NGO and local farmers in China.

The Climate & Society Fellows Program provides support for currently enrolled University of Arizona graduate students whose work is focused on the nexus of climate research and decision making.
