Daniel Park is a postdoctoral research associate with the Bridging Biodiversity and Conservation Science (BBCS) initiative at the Institute of the Environment. As a part of the interdisciplanary BBCS team, he will be working to create novel synthetic research addressing present and future global challenges in biodiversity and conservation. Daniel is a broadly trained evolutionary ecologist with interests and expertise in investigating plant biodiversity patterns and community assembly processes in the Anthropocene using phylogenetic frameworks, species distribution modeling, population genomics, and citizen science.
