Speakers

Melinda Gable, Executive Director, Forest Landowner Foundation. Melinda has been advancing natural resource policy issues for 25 years. Her focus is on accomplishing measured results benefiting stakeholders, the economy, and the environment. She has worked with the Archery Trade Association, Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, National Sporting Library & Museum, Outdoor Channel, The Land Report, Southern Group of State Foresters, and Association of Consulting Foresters.

Charlie Levesque, President, Innovative Natural Resource Solutions LLC. Charlie is President of Innovative Natural Resource Solutions LLC, a northeastern-based consulting firm working in forest sustainability, management, carbon, forest industry development and renewable energy. He also serves as Executive Director of the North East State Foresters Association (NEFA), a non-profit of the state foresters in the northeastern states. Through NEFA he coordinates the USDA Forest Service funded Securing Northeast Forest Carbon Program - an effort to reach key audiences about the latest info on forest carbon and forest carbon markets.

Brittany Wienke, Forest Projects Manager, The Nature Conservancy in NY. Brittany manages the Working Woodlands program in NY, uniting the voluntary carbon market, conservation easements, and forest certification for long-term forest protection, improved management, and resilience of NY’s forests.

Chris Zimmerman, Forest Restoration Strategy Lead, The Nature Conservancy in NY. Chris has worked on developing and implementing a management strategy to improve forest resilience and maintain carbon stocks. Currently, he is coordinating the Family Forest Carbon Program in NY.
