While summer monsoon precipitation has brought some short-term and local drought relief in southern Arizona in the U.S. and Sonora and Sinaloa in Mexico, extensive areas of arid North America are still experiencing the long-term effects of drought. The outlook is published quarterly in English and Spanish.
