Opportunity Description: 

The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is looking for volunteers for their new stingray exhibit opening in May.  This exhibit will have a hands on aspect, as guests will be able to touch and feed the rays.  Aquatic Interpreters will get the chance to engage with the public, expand their public speaking skills, while gaining the knowledge of the museum and species related to the Sea of Cortez. Applicants should have an outgoing personality and an eagerness to share information with museumguests. Applicants must also be willing to endure (shaded) outdoor weather conditions throughout the year.

Time Commitment: 

5-7 month commitment , 4.5-5 hours one day per week
