Students in any major can add a minor in Natural Resources and choose to focus on Conservation Biology, Fisheries Conservation and Management, Rangeland Ecology and Management, Watershed Management and Ecohydrology, or Wildlife Conservation and Management in the minor coursework. 

Research Opportunities: 

Water Resources Research Center: The WRRC promotes understanding of critical state and regional water management and policy issues through research, community outreach and engagement, and public education.

Rich Lab Soil, Water and Environmental Science Microbial Ecology Lab: The Rich Lab, also known as SWES-MEL, is a lab that does research on microorganisms and their impact on biogeochemistry and global change. 

Biosphere 2: Biosphere 2 is owned by the University of Arizona and is an Earth systems science research facility that focuses on the Earth, its living systems, and sustainability. The facility is located in northern Tucson and serves as a center for research, outreach, and teaching.
