Students who minor in Mexican American Studies will gain a basic understanding of the culture, social history, and the public policy concerns of the Mexican American peoples. For students who are specifically interested in how the culture, social history, and public policy influence the environment, there are a few courses they can take to fulfill the minor requirements. Research Opportunities: 

Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy: The Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy sponsors policy-relevant, interdisciplinary research and forums that link scholarship and education. The Center specializes in issues concerning environmental policy, immigration policy of the United States and indigenous nations policy.
