A Film by Carolann Stoney
Please join the School of Landscape Architecture and Planning, College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture for the Tucson Premier screening of Women in the Dirt WIND Media Productions. This award winning documentary features the work of seven female professional landscape architects who have shaped the landscape with concerns for environmental sustainability, beauty, and human experience. Their work ranges from private gardens to vast public projects. Karen C. Hanna, professor of Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona calls it a"masterful work", and landscape historian professor Thaisa Way at the University of Washington says the women profiled in the film are "pushing the boundaries" of their profession.
