Young Artists, Young Scientists: Patterns of Personal Expression Through Scientific Observation
Join the UA Community and School Gardening Program in celebrating K-12 students who have participated in the mini Landscape Evolution Observatory (LEO) program this year as they present their "Patterns of Personal Expression through Observation" art pieces.
The mini LEO program connects K-12 students with real-world science occurring at Biosphere 2's (B2) one of a kind Landscape Evolution Observatory (LEO). These students are not only learning about climate science, but are actively contributing to B2 climate data.
Students from J.B. Wright Elementary and Borton Magnet will be presenting their work at the Biosphere 2 Visitor's Center on Saturday, April 2nd, from 11am-1pm.
Free transportation and a tour of Biosphere 2 will be provided for family members. A bus will arrive at each school site (Borton and J.B. Wright) in the bus loading area at 9:30am and will depart Biosphere 2 at 1:00pm.
Please call (520) 626-4666 to reserve your seat on the bus, and for answers to any questions.
We hope to see you all there!
