This talk will focus on the preservation of the life stories of individuals who work and live near two Superfund sites in Arizona. To do so, we use oral history and the analysis of oral history and semi-structured interviews to learn how people experience these sites. This project implements a mixed method approach and community-engaged research. Ultimately, these findings will help to inform how scientists and policy makers approach and assist communities that are dealing with pollution.
