Tina Gargus joined the Institute of the Environment in 2013. As Senior Program Coordinator, she provides program and administrative support to IE senior directors and operations. She administers IE's grant awards and currently manages the Carson Scholars program. Additionally, she supports IE development by coordinating events and activities in support of donor stewardship and UA fundraising. Prior to joining IE, Tina spent 14 years working for the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution providing federal program coordination in the field of environmental collaboration. In that capacity she provided project management, contract administration, and events coordination for collaborative planning processes in the areas of transportation and urban development, public lands, water resource management and tribal consultation. Tina also administered the federal National Environmental Conflict Resolution Advisory Committee and co-managed the highly successful national environmental collaboration conferences.
